DDIDNS, DHCP and IPAM (IP Address Management)

After more than 2 years of Planning / RFP / Data Manipulation / Implementation, we (Penn State IT) are moving to our new DDI Platform.  With our revised design, we have increased our redundancy, retained self-service usability, move to near real time changes, redesigned our infrastructure – all while being able to reduce the costs.

Now that the system is nearly live, we will show the final DDI infrastructure, highlights, and lowlights of the new system/vendor and how to get the most out of what we have.

NTP Network Time Protocol

In the past year we have re-vamped our NTP infrastructure to make a more robust and to serve the University’s needs.  We will show the newly implement layout and how to get solid reliable time from the PSU sources.

We will start at 11:00 AM and end around 12:00 PM (Noon). The meeting will be available via Zoom (Penn State login required) and recorded for later viewing on our resources page.

This meeting is open for all Penn State University IT to attend. As it will be a technical discussion of IT infrastructure, platforms and services it will be of most interest to those who build on and deploy IT services.
