The Penn State IT Virtualization & Storage Team has been working diligently the past year to implement Commvault as their new centralized backup service. Great progress has been made as they continue to make this one of their group’s top priorities.

Jennifer Johnson (Interim Manager, Virtualization & Storage Team) will give an update on the headway made to date with UBSi-Commvault and outline what is coming down the line in the months ahead. She will explain the ways that UBSi-Commvault can help meet Penn State IT’s disaster recovery and ransomware protection goals.

We will start at 11:00 AM and end around 12:00 PM (Noon). The meeting will be available via Zoom (Penn State login required). The meeting will be recorded for later viewing on our resources page.

This meeting is open for all Penn State University IT to attend. As it will be a technical discussion of IT infrastructure, platforms and services it will be of most interest to those who build on and deploy IT services.
